We are a premier martial arts academy that offers the highest level of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training under world renowned Professor Clark Gracie. Gracie Allegiance Ridgecrest was founded by Coach Jesus with the goals of helping students of all levels achieve their goals, whether it's to get in shape, compete at the highest level, or learn self-defense.

With a focus on technique, leverage, and physical conditioning, Gracie Allegiance provides a welcoming and supportive environment for anyone looking to improve their skills and become part of a thriving martial arts community.

Classes offered include: group instruction, private classes, free seminars by world class instructors to members, anti bullying training, physical conditioning, and self defense training. Coach Jesus also offers anti bullying and self defense consulting services for businesses and schools.

Coach Jesus has a full background check and is CPR certified.

Jesus "GZeus" Gaytan

Coach G-Zeus has over 30 years of martial arts experience, and began his Brazilian Jiu Jitsu journey began as a Gracie Allegiance student over 14 years ago. His BJJ journey has taken him through numerous seminars, training camps in the U.S. & Mexico. Coach G-Zeus has extensive experience coaching all ages and levels of experience. In addition, he draws from his in depth knowledge of Aikido, Kenpo, Tang Soo Do, Krav Maga, and Kali/Escrima, to complement his approach to the Gentle Art. It cannot go with out saying that a long career as an accomplished college professor affords him intricate knowledge on pedagogy and learning psychology. He holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of California Berkeley, master's degrees in Educational Multicultural counseling, Psychology, and History, so you can expect the highest level of instruction. In short, coach G-Zeus has a passion for learning and for cultivating healthy and confident community members and martial arts practitioners.

Charles Gougenheim

From serving our country to serving our community, Coach charles continues to dedicate his time and effort to help others. A former Texas Army National Guard Apache combat pilot serving tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, is a passionate Jiu Jitsu practitioner. His roots in the gentle art extend well over a decade. His journey began at Bomb Squad in Columbus, NE, where he trained MMA and Jiu Jitsu, continued at Easton Training Center where he earned his blue belt in Jiu Jitsu, and he is now a highly talented and detailed oriented Gracie Allegiance Purple Belt. Complementing his well rounded BJJ experience is his work as a former air ambulance pilot back in Nebraska and is current work as a software developer for NAVAIR. Charles holds a bachelors degree in Computer Science from Colorado School of Mines and is a loving husband and father of three amazing children and expecting a baby in the coming months. Charles leads by example on and off the mats. Gracie Allegiance Ridgecrest is extremely fortunate to have him as a teammate and coach. Thank you for your service Coach Charles!
